Online-route-planner at Yahoo: http://maps.yahoo.com/

Your destination is: Giesenallee 7, in 34121 Kassel.

By train:

When travelling by long-distance trains (ICE, IC, IR), you dismount from the train at Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe; the old main station (Kassel Hauptbahnhof) is only still used for shorter distances. However, you will not have to change at any of the two stations.

Time-table of the Deutsche Bahn

From station to campsite

By taxi to the campsite: Giesenallee 7 (costs: around 10 €), or by public transport:

From Bahnhof Wilhelmshöhe
From Kassel Hauptbahnhof (Main station)
Take the tram no. 3 (to Ihringshäuser Str.), and leave tram at Kirchweg.

Change there to bus no. 25 (to Bettenhausen, Lindenberg), and leave bus at Damaschkebrücke.

You are now at 200 m walking-distance from the campsite.

From station to Damaschkebrücke, you will need about 20-30 minutes altogether.

In case you want to use the online time-table of the KHV, your stops are:

departure: Bahnhof Wilhelmshöhe, Kassel

arrival: Damaschkebrücke, Kassel

Unfortunately we cannot provide you with detailed information here. Depending on your time of arrival at the station, different connections are at your disposal.

The best method is to use the online time-table of the KVG. Your stops are:

departure: Hauptbahnhof, Kassel

arrival: Damaschkebrücke, Kassel

From main station to Damaschkebrücke, you will need about 30-40 minutes altogether.

It is normally possible to transport a bicycle in trams and busses free of charge, given that other passengers are not disturbed. Especially parents with prams will be treated with priority.

A sketch of your way from the stations to the campsite is in preparation.
